KEOSAUQUA, Ia. - Charles F. Hales, former county engineer for Van Buren county and now serving in that capacity for Lee county, has been appointed to the research board of the Iowa County Engineers association. His new duties will begin Jan. 1, 1961.
Hales will participate in research activities aimed at improving road building in Iowa. He will represent district five which consists of 13 Southeastern Iowa counties.
