Marriott-Higbee.

Mr. J. L. Marriott of Bentonsport and Mrs. Florence Higbee of Sullivan Indiana were married at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Thursday, October 6, and are now at home at Mr. Marriott’s residence in Vernon.

Mrs. Higbee visited several years ago at the Dr. Bailey home in Vernon and it was there that Mr. Marriott met her. She also visited Mrs. Bailey in Vernon this summer. She has been prominently identified with social and business interests at her home in Indiana, having been the leading spirit in the organization of the public library and in other philanthropic enterprises. The many friends of Mr. Marriott throughout this county extend to his bride a hearty welcome.

Mr. Marriott has for many years been a farmer and stock and grain buyer and is well known as a reliable and enterprising business man.
