WHO'S WHO IN FORTY-TWO

LEONARD REGUR

On February 19, 1924 an event took place that was destined to change the lives of a certain family. Leonard (Big Boy) Regur was born. People thought Leonard was such a sweet baby with his large brown eyes, but he would only blush and say, "Glub." Now, when someone says he's handsome, Leonard says modesty, "Why, of course I am."

The name Leonard means "Strong and brave as a lion," and we think this is an appropriate name for him.

When Leonard was a sophomore, he decided, since he had been eating Wheaties every day to go out for athletics. He did very well but didn't get a letter. The next year he ate spinach and-Hooray!-he receives his letter. Spinach has always been his favorite morsel since. Leonard decided to start training his voice when he was a junior. he went out for Glee club and mixed chorus and has been booming away in the bass section since. Now he has a new profession. He is a detective in the senior literature play which is to be produced shortly, "Sweet Little Headache." Leonard says he wants to stay on the farm for a while after he graduates. He says and I quote, "There's nothing like being close to Mother Nature," unquote. If he doesn't lose any of that weight (or to put any on) or lose any of his splendid determination we're sure he will succeed in anything he attempts whether it be "close to Mother Nature" or otherwise.
