DOROTHY ESTHER SIEMON

There was a great gathering at the Frank Siemon home sixteen years ago, to see the sweet little daughter who had arrived the day before. She was Dorothy Esther Siemon. She was christened Dorothy because the name means "Gift of God," and that's what Dorothy was. To those who cared for her, Dorothy was a problem child. She used to drive the chickens into the garden instead of out, pull the cat's tail and a few other minor disturbances. When she came to school, however, Dorothy learned fast and was soon at the head of the class. In spite of her behavior in childhood. Dorothy has a sweet personality now. Her personality and ability to make friends is an asset in her present employment at the Sugar Bowl. Dorothy started warbling like a canary (if there are such things as alto canaries) in her freshman year. She liked it so well she decided to join glee club and mixed chorus. She has been a member all four years. Dorothy also has acting ability. If you remember all the plays she has been in, you'll agree. She hope to go to college next year and become better informed on matters of life. Then she is hoping to find a school to teach. Here's wishing you all the luck and happiness in the world, Dorothy!
