DOUBLE WEDDING
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Smutz and Mrs. Harry Derr and Mrs. Anna Derr attended the double ring wedding of Mrs. Smutz' cousins, which was held at St. Paul's Evangelical Reformed church in Donnellson on Sunday, May 3rd, when Miss Florabelle Westermeyer became the bride of John W. Fickel, and Miss Josephine Maree Kopack became the bride of George L. Westermeyer. A reception held in the church basment(sp) followed the ceremonies.

Born May 3 to Mr. and Mrs. Harold Carter of Burlington, a daughter. The mother was the former Elizabeth Giberson of Stockport.Mr. and Mrs. Grant Moxley and Mrs. Earl Moxley spent Sunday with the former's brother, Ralph Moxley, and family in Bloomfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Stan Lane have moved into rooms in the Mrs. Bessie Fleming residence.
Mr. and Mrs. Grant Moxley received word from their son, Bob, who recently enlisted in the Navy that he is stationed at the Great Lakes Training Station, Chicago. Earl Moxley, who enlisted a few days earlier, was sent to Dan Diego, Calif.
Dr. and Mrs. Clifton Harlan and son, of Ava, Mo., are visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Harlan.
Mr. and Mrs. Kuester, Mr. and Mrs. J. McCue and Mrs. Max Radtke all of Wever spent Sunday at the Carl Radtke home.
The Eugene Lyon family moved recently into rooms in the Joe Silver residence.
Mrs. M.L. Nelson, who has been making her home with her daughter in Packwood, arrived Friday to spent the summer in Stockport with her daughter, Mrs. Verne Bradfield, and family.
The annual Home Economics and manual training exhibit will be held in the Stockport gym on Tuesday afternoon, May 12, at 1:00 o'clock. The public is invited to attend the program.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Crabb spent Sunday at the Leonard Fleig home north of Fairfield.
The Bernard Bailey family recently visited at the parental Henry Bailey and Ray Donald homes, before moving to Wichita, Kansas, where Bernard has employment at the airplane factory.
Mr. and Ms. Genn Lucas and family of Augusta, Iowa, were week end guests at the parental N.E. Crawford home.
