HIATT-McGLOTHLEN WEDDING YESTERDAY
**Handwritten: Aug 22, 1929.

At 5:00 o'clock yesterday afternoon, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H.W. Moll, 403 South D. street, occurred the marriage of Miss Constance Louise Hiatt and Mr. J. Maurice McGlothlen, both of Bonaparte, Iowa, Dr. U.S. Smith officiating. The double ring ceremony was given.

The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Winifred Hiatt of Stockport, and Mr. Frank McGlothlen, brother of the groom, acted as best man.

The bride's dress was of dark blue georgette, trimmed with lace, and she wore a corsage bouquest of pink roses and sweet peas.

Following the ceremony, the wedding party left for Ottumwa where the wedding dinner was served. After a short trip, the young couple will be at home at Bonaparte, Iowa, where the groom recently purchased a cafe.

The bride is the oldest daughter of Mr. A.R. Riatt, druggist, at Stockport for many years, and has lived all her life in that vicinity. She is a graduate of Stockport High School and also of Iowa State Teacher's College of Cedar Falls, and last year taught in the rural schools.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John McGlothlen of Stockport, and is also a graduate of Stockport High School and attended Iowa Wesleyan last year. Other guests present for the ceremony were A.R. Hiatt, father of the bride, and Miss Brooks MoDella Lane of Bonaparte, Iowa.
