GARDNER-WALKER

At a party in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Walker, 221 North Fellows avenue, Saturday evening, the announcement was made of the engagement and approaching marriage of Mrs. Walker's sister, Miss Grace Gardner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Gardner of Bonaparte, to Mr. Walker's brother, Merlin Walker. The wedding will take place May 20 in the Bonaparte Presbyterian church. Mr. Walker's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Walker, also make their home in Bonaparte. The young couple will reside in Ottumwa.
