Mr. and Mrs. Max Morris are the parents of a daughter, born, August 29, at Jefferson county hospital. Mrs. Morris was the former Betty Hoaglin.

Mr. and Mrs. La Verne Brown are the parents of a son born, August 29, at the Boyd Kisling home near Stockport. Mrs. Brown was the former Ruth Bradfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Verne Bradfield and daughter, Lorna Jean spent Sunday in Dallas City, Ill., as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Lehr. Mrs. Lehr will be remembered here as Miss Emily Bradfield.
