WILLIAMS-BAILEY
**Handwritten: 1940

Wedding bells rang out loud and clear on Christmas eve to announce the marriage of Floyd Williams and Mrs. Winnie Bailey, performed at the home of the groom's brother, Glenn Williams and wife in Keosauqua, by the Rev. F.M. James, a former pastor of the Methodist church in Birmingham, at 7 o'clock, Dec. 24, after which a wedding dinner was served in the same home. They returned to their ready furnished home in Birmingham the same evening whre they are "at home" to their many friends. Floyd's acquaintance extends to everybody as he ws born and raised here and he is in charge of teh Standard Oil Service Station, and is a member of the Williams Bros. quartet. Mrs. Williams has been a resident of this community for a number of years where she also is well and favorably known.

Congratulations and good wishes are extended to this worhty couple by their many friends.
