Brown - Bradfield
**Handwritten: 1940A very pretty wedding occurred Monday evening at the residence of the Christian minister, W.A. Purdy, at Keosauqua, when LaVerne Brown and Ruth Bradfield of Stockport were united in marriage.
At four o'clock the single ring ceremony was read in the presence of members of the minister's family and immediate relatives of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Clarice Bradfield, brother and sister-in-law of the bride were witnesses. The beauty of the hour was enhanced by Christmas decorations and the lighted tree. This young couple will make their home at Stockport in the near future.
