BONAPARTE GIRL WEDDED.
Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Conrad
Henkle Married at Chicago
Wednesday Morning.HENKLE-SCHNEIDER.
News of the marriage of a former Bonaparte girl was wafted to this city last week, and created not a little surprise, as her friends in her native village had not been informed of the long friendship between Miss Anna F. Henkle and Mr. Charles F. Schneider. This friendship had long since taken emphatic form, and the stricken ones brought matters to a culmination when, on Wednesday morning, May 7, 1902, Rev. John D. Leach, pastor of the Grace M. E. church, spoke the words than united Miss Anna E. Henkle and Mr. Charles F. Schneider as man and wife. The bride's sister, Brooks, and brother, George, and a few intimate friends were present. A wedding breakfast was served and Mr. and Mrs. Schneider took the one o'clock train for the East. They will be at home after June 1, at 284 Rush St., Chicago, Ill.
Mrs. Schneider was a girl of Bonaparte and is so well known to every one here that she needs no introduction. Ever a favorite with the young people, she has been greatly missed since going to Chicago. She is an accomplished young woman whom Bonaparte is proud to claim as a daughter.
Mr. Schneider is better known in Chicago than in Bonaparte. He is a partner in the Board of Trade firm of E. W. Wagner & Co. - a man of position and influence.
Among the many valuable presents was a check for $250 presented to the bride by the firm of Councelman & Co., in whose employ she had been for the past ten years. Mr. and Mrs. Schneider expect to visit in Bonaparte for a short time before returning to Chicago.
