BOTH WEDDED CARPENTERS.

Pretty Wedding at The Burnett Home East of Town.

PALMER-BURNETT

At noon Thursday, January ninth, 1902, at the home of the bride's parents two and one-half miles east of Bonaparte occurred the marriage of Gilbert Palmer to Mary E. Burnett, Rev. Ayrault speaking the words which made them man and wife.

It was a very quiet affair only a few relatives of the bride being present to witness the ceremony and to partake of the wedding dinner.

Mr. Palmer is a respected citizen and carpenter of Aledo, Ill. and has a home at Aledo prepared for his bride.

Mrs. Palmer is well known in this community. She is an only sister of Mrs. John W. Brown who also married a carpenter and who resides in Bonaparte.

Mr. and Mrs. Palmer left at 5:27 over the K. C. road for their future home at Aledo. The best wishes of Mrs. Palmer's many friends follow them to their Illinois home.
