David Washington Crawford to R. J. Sturdivant.

For the Sum of five Hundred dollars we David Washington Crawford and his wife Sarah Crawford of Lee County Iowa do Convey to R. J. Sturdivant of Van Buren County and State aforesaid the following Lot of Land to wit the South East fourth of the North East fourth of Section one in Township Sixty Eight Range eight West Containing forty acres More or less lying and being in the County of Van Buren and State aforesaid to have and to hold forever and the warrant the ??? against the Claim or Claims of all persons whomsoever Witness our hands and seals in the presence of George Beck

Before me the undersigned was acting justice of the peace in said County personally came said Washington Crawford and his wife Sarah Crawford Known to me to be the identical persons whose Signatures appears to the above deed and acknowledges it to be their Voluntary act and deed for the purposes therein Contained given under my hand
