Mrs. Lida Keck Ralston, age 93, now of San Jose, Calif., holds a record for "firsts." She was one of the first two women to cross the Brooklyn bridge. She was a passenger on the first stage coach that ran from Salt Lake, Utah, to Boise, Idaho, in 1864. She was one of the first to cross the San Francisco Bay bridge. She was said to be one of the first one pound babies on record that lived- in a day when incubators were practically unknown.

Mrs. Ralston formerly made her home in Bentonsport in the place now occupied by Mr. and Mrs. Carl Freshwater, and she has several relatives in this county.
