John Detwiler et ux To Milton Sutton

In consideration of three hundred dollars John Detwiler and Cynthia Detwiler, his wife, hereby release and quit claim unto Milton Sutton, his heirs and assigns, all our right, title, estate and interest in and to the following described piece of land lying and being in the County of Van Buren, State of Iowa to wit; forty rods in width running east and west off the north end of the west half of the south east quarter of section thirty two (32) township (69) sixty nine range eight (8) west containing (20) twenty acres. In witness whereof we have hereunto placed our hands & seals this 29th day of February A.D. 1856.

Before the undersigned a Justice of the peace in and for the county & state aforesaid appeared John Detwiler and Cynthia Detwiler, his wife, personally known to me to be the identical persons whose names are affixed to the foregoing instrument by writing as grantors, and acknowledged the execution of the same to be their voluntary act and deed.
In testimony of which I have hereunto set my hand this 29th day of February A.D. 1856.
