Robert Moffett & wife to John Detwiler

For the consideration of the sum of $300, we, Robert Moffett and Lucy, his wife of county Van Buren and State of Iowa hereby sell and convey to John Detwiler the following tracts of land: the north half of the east half of the northwest quarter of section 33 in township 69, range 8 west containing 40 acres. Then the north 20 acres of west half of northeast quarter of section 32, township 69, of range 8 west. Next (?), in the south a land parallel to north line of (?) section as such a distance as to include 20 acres, then north half of northwest half of quarter, section 33 in township 69 of range 8, next containing 40 acres, also the south half of the northwest quarter township 69, range 8 west containing 80 acres and we convenant the title against all persons whomsoever. Witness our hands and seal.
