Thank you for the lead Lynn McCleary. We acquired the collection from friends/family of Donna Lou Brooks after she passed away. That contact also passed away before we physically received the collection and discovered it was not in scope. Donna's in-law family did not want the collection returned and we have not been able to locate any other direct relatives. The several Iowa archives, historical and genealogical societies we have contacted have all declined, hence my looking for other Brooks families through genealogical communities.
