Sorry, but I am new to this. Ede is the surname of the family In 1860 they were living in Chickasaw County. There was father, Matthew, his wife Jane, children Mary Jane age 13, Emma age 12, Matthew age 10, William age 7, Ellen age 5, and Matthew the elder's brother John. They came here from England. I hope I haven't missed any pertinent information. The parents and daughter Ellen are buried in Bremer County. I have accounted for all of them but Ann and Matthew.
