Joseph French born somewhere in OH married Sarah J. Hatfield in Hancock, OH on May 20th 1858. An 1860 Census shows them residing in Wood County, OH, Sarah's home town. The couple has three children from this Census. The family relocated somewhere in Iowa were they completed the family with the following born in IA,Theodore abt 1868, Caroline abt 1869, Ella 1871, Lorenzo abt 1873, William abt 1876, and another child name unlnown abt 1874. It appears that 1 child born in OH, died in IA I believe it is Clara French as the family relocates again by 1880 Census to Bolckow, MO. It appears the family marries off, and Joseph, Sarah,apeear briefly in ST. Joseph, MO but Joseph, Sarah, Theodore and a grandson Cliff follow Joseph's daughter Ella to Kansas City where they are at rest. I am a decendant of Ella. ANY ans ALL info on this family greatly apperciated
