Michael SKARE FAMILY with grandson named Otis SKARE

I am looking for information on the Michael and Synnova SKARE family who, I believe, lived somewhere in Iowa (possibly in the Hardin, Grundy, Franklin counties or somewhere in that vicinity)after immigrating from Odda, Norway. They had children named John (1871), Sam(1877, Julia (1879) all born in Odda, Norway and a daughter named Mary who was born in America. It is alleged that Mary married a Mr. Palmer and later lived in the Chicago area. John SKARE may have married an Anne in Iowa and possibly had four children, one of whom was Otis born abt 1910. I am looking to verify that this is the right family. I do see an Otis Skare who was born 22 Jul 1910 and then died 29 Jun 1991 somewhere in Iowa but the SSDI does not indicate which city. If anyone has any information regarding any of these people, please contact me. Michael SKARE was a brother to my great-great grandfather Jacob SKARE and I am working on a rather extensive SKARE family history project. Thank you for any information that you can provide.
