Riley Magers/Majors [age 45 - born 1832] married Susannah Wailes/Wales [age 32 - born 1845] on July 4, 1877 in Appanoose County, Iowa. In 1880, Susan Majors, age 35, born in Indiana is enumerated in Bellair, Appanoose County with a son, James R. Majors, age 2 born in Iowa. The father of James R. Majors is listed as having been born in Illinois. The World War I Draft Registration for Appanoose County lists James Riley Majors born March 31, 1878.

The marriage record for James Riley Majors, born 1878 in Centerville, Iowa to Carrie Law, born 1893 in Fort Dodge, Iowa married on September 4, 1921 in Ottumwa, Wapello, Iowa lists his parents as: Riley Majors and Louisa Wale and her parents as James Law and Martha Vance.
