I am looking for the death of unknown White who fell thru the ice during the winter of 1856. I don't know which county in Iowa.

He was married to Mary Elizabeth Nichols and they had a son, William D. White, born June 1856 in Iowa.

Mary Elizabeth Nichols married George Washington Wright in Jackson County on April 15, 1857 using the name as Mary White.
