Rev. W.J. Krieger (abt. 1870 - aft. 1939) married Esther Katherine Stark (March 06, 1881 - April 23, 1930). They had at least 6 children: Eugene Krieger, Willis L. Krieger, James Krieger, Roger Krieger, Larry Krieger and Ruth Krieger.

From Julia Stark Honadel's "Notes for My Autobiography," February 3, 1971: "Our land was next to the Scotland Academy where W.J. Krieger and George Daniels taught." This small tome also notes W.J. Krieger had a brother Fred: "On August 1, 1922, I was married to Henry Honadel from Donnellson, Iowa. We were married by Rev. William Krieger, at the home of his brother Fred."
