Surnames: Lowry
I am from Iowa and my Grandfathers name was Julius Lowry. Most Lowrys from Iowa are from the southern portion near the border of Missouri. Also there are a few Lowrys buried in the Maryville, MO cemetery too. There is a Lowry Cemetery located in Southern Iowa. The first person to die there was a boy by the name of David Lowry who died from a rattlesnake bite. I will check with my mother, Sandra Allen (Lowry) to get the exact location and see if she has information on a Jas Lowry. E-Mail me back if I forget to get you that info soon.
