He was 36 when he married Clara, who was 17. The only birth record I found was for Earl, and only had that he was from England and that he was a jeweler.No middle initial. I've checked with Appanoose County..no divorce records, no land records, nothing!
I am getting a copy of the marriage record from Wayne County, but really don't have much hope for information I don't know.
Yes, I noted also that Clara was in the home of her parents in 1895 and he wasn't listed. But they had two other children, Frank in 1896, and Ruth in 1898 ..so he definitely showed up, at least twice !!!!
I am at a loss as to where else to look!
