I am looking for any information on Evelyn Trotter. My grandfather, Thomas Lee Newman, supposedly married her in 1937. The date I have for their "marriage" is March 3, 1937. I am unsure of the county. I was told that they had children as well. And that she was still living in 1991.
My grandfather lived in Sac County, Iowa when he first moved here. He was born in Kentucky and died in 1960 in Reinbeck, Iowa. He married my grandmother, Minnie Bailey, in 1949. My father, Alexander Lee Newman was born in 1950.
Please help me solve the case of the mysterious marriage. Thank you.
