Buried Alive.

Creston, Iowa, June 21.-- Samuel Conic, an old man, met a terrible fate at Red Oak Thursday while in a gravel pit. The walls caved in, completely covering him. His son who accompanied him, was standing outside and soon recovered his father's body, but not before life had flown. The body was standing upright with only six inches of gravel above his head.
