Wilma Nelson, Creston
Wilma Lulu Nelson, 77, of 617 North Walnut, Creston died Wednesday morning at Greater Community Hospital here.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Keating-Lindsay Funeral Home here. The Rev. Lyle Kuehl will officiate with burial in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Friday.
Nelson was born Jan. 1, 1908, in Afton to Zebulin and Rosabelle(nee Gray) Peterson. She married Ray Nelson July 25, 1927, in Afton. He preceded her in death in August 1972.
She lived in Afton until her marriage in 1927 and moved to Creston. She was a housewife and a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Phyllis Anderson of Creston; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and one sister, Francis Stewart of Oxnard, Calif.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and three sisters.
