Dies Here at 72Mrs. Martha Waltersdorf, 72, died suddenly at her home, 211 south Maple street, at 4:45 a.m. today. She had lived in Creston nearly all her life.
Funeral arrangements have not been completed and will be announced later. Her body is at the Deitrick and Keating funeral home here.
Martha Davenport was born at Hebron, Ia., Jan. 30, 1880. She was the daughter of William J. and Martha Maitland Davenport.
She was married in Creston in January, 1899, to Carl Waltersdorf, who preceded her in death Feb. 22, 1930.
Surviving her are a son, Carl Waltersdorf of Creston; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Bly of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Daisy Lauer of Creston; a grandaughter, Patricia Bogar of Creston; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Dalton of Thayer and Mrs. Daisy Anders of Chicago, Ill., and two brothers, William Davenport of Colorado and Bud Davenport of Kent.

Afternoon for
Martha WaltersdorfFuneral services for Mrs. Martha Waltersdorf, 72, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Deitrick and Keating chapel here. Mrs. Waltersdorf died suddenly at her home here at 4:45 a.m. Monday.
Rev. G. G. Bratzel, pastor of the Evangelical and Reformed St. John's church will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.
