Memorial services for Geraldine Kiesling, age 90, of Lenox, who died Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at the Lenox
Care Center were held Saturday, July 24, 2004 at sunset at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Cromwell. Memorials can be
given in Geraldine's name or to Hospice. Arrangements were entrusted to the Ritchie Funeral Home of Lenox.
Geraldine Lenora Kiesling, daughter of Charles Daniel land Bessie Olive McCulley Frazier, began her life journey on
October 15th, 1913 in Creston, Iowa. She entered into eternal peace on July 21st, 2004 at the Lenox Care Center.
Raised in the Creston area, Geraldine attended school and graduated from Creston High. She also graduated from
beauty school in Omaha.
On September 5th, 1937 Geraldine was united in marriage with Fred Samuel Kiesling at her parent's home in
Creston. They were blessed with two sons.
Geraldine was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. She, Fred, their sons and extended family spent
many happy summers fishing in Minnesota. Always active, Geraldine enjoyed sports, gardening, cooking, and the
important job of homemaker and mom.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Fred in 1986, an older brother Harry, and daughter-in-law
Linda.
Those left to cherish her memory include son Davie, wife, Monica of Shell Knob, Missouri; and son, Danie, wife,
Mililani of Makawao, Maui, Hawaii; her two sisters, 0na Walker and Patty McMath of Lenox; many grandchildren;
great-grandchildren; great-great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
