Brown, Anna Eschelman -
Anna Brown, 82, of Corning, formerly of Prescott, Iowa, died Monday, May 27, 2002 at Corning Nursing and Rehab. Services were held May 30, 2002 at Coen-Beaty-Pearson Family Funeral Service in Creston. Conducting the services was Rev. Dr. Jeanne Groom. Interment was at the Bohemian National Cemetery. Memorials goes to the family or Williamson American Legion
Auxiliary.
Anna was born on Dec. 15, 1919 in Adair County to John Coleman and Mary Eschelman. Her education was to the 8th grade. Anna got married on Sept. 11, 1943 to Donald Brown.
She was a homemaker, farm wife, and a lifelong resident of Prescott.
Anna held memberships in the American Legion Auxiliary at Williamson, Post #719, Prescott United Church Disciples of Christ, Friday Morning Coffee Club, various bridge clubs, Jolly Few and Bag Ladies.
Survivors include a son, David Sadler of Cromwell; daughter Sue (Edward) Montgomery of Maitland, Mo.; sister Grace Dougherty of Massena; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceded her in death were husband Donald on May 9, 1992; son Douglas Sadler; six sisters; and two brothers.
