Funeral services for Shirly A. Woosley, 74, of Creston were held April 29 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Leonard Kenkel officiating. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
Shirly passed away April 26 at Greater Community Hospital.
She was born Feb. 8, 1928 to Henry and Minnie Krabiel Repplinger. She attended Orient High School. On Jan. 26, 1946, she married Orval Woosley in Hiawatha, Kansas.
She was a lifelong Creston resident and was a member of St. Malachy's, Holy Spirit Church; CCW; and Lady Elks. She was a nurse aide for many years at Greater Community Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Orval of Creston; children Pam (husband Larry) Blakesley of Creston, Mark (wife Joyce) Woosley of Indianola, and Michele (husband Howard) Buck of Altoona, brothers DeOle Repplinger of Indianola and Ronald
Repplinger of Creston; and sister Loretta Simoff of Onawa and LaDunna (husband Morris) Morgan of Greenfield.
Coen-Beaty-Pearson Family Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.
