Funeral services for Bernice C. Williams, age 90, were held at 10:00 a.m. March 23, 2002 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Creston with Father Leonard Kenkel conducting the service. Burial was in the Calvary Cemetery. Bernice died March 20, 2002, at Crest Haven Care Center in Creston. Memorials may be made to Holy Spirit Church or Calvary Cemetery. Coen-Beaty-Pearson
Family Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements.

Bernice Williams was born May 3, 1911 in Union County north of Creston to John M. Weber and Nora Agnes Kerrigan. She graduated from Creston High School in 1927.

Bernice was united in marriage July 12, 1965 to D.C. "Spiv" Williams in Maloy, Iowa. She worked as an assembler at Gifts Manufacturing for over 12 years. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Survivors include Brothers Arthur Weber and William S. "Bill" (Vivian) Weber all of Creston; sisters Kathryn (Don)Rasmussen of Creston and Agnes Wilson of California.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and Sister Irene Groves.
