Plowman, Hazel V Moore -
Hazel V. Plowman of Creston passed away August 21, 1999 at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines at the age of 81.

Mrs. Plowman, daughter of Roy and Ella (Schaffcr) Moore, was born July 6, 1918 in Adams County. She was united in marriage to Orville "Rusty" Plowman, May 31, 1941 in Maryville, MO.

Many from the area will remember Hazel as she worked at Armour Creamery, J.C. Penney and Easter's Family Center for 25 years, retiring in 1996.

She is survived by a son, Terry (wife Rhonda) Plowman south of Creston; a sister-in-law
Dorothy Plowman of Creston; special friend, LeRoy Kerrigan of Creston; two grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband in 1989; brother and sister-in-law, Melvin and Dorothy Moore; and brother-in-law, Lewis Plowman.

Services were held August 24 at the First Presbyterian Church in Creston.

Burial was in the Maple Hill Cemetery at Cromwell.
