Linda Combs Raymie, age 43, of Creston, Iowa died Wednesday, May 12, 1999 at her home following a long battle of cancer.

She was born February 14, 1956 in Corona, California the daughter of Gaylan and Penny (White) Combs. She lived in Riverside, California until she was 10 years old then moved with her family to Mt. Ayr, Iowa.

She graduated from Mt. Ayr Community High School, with the class of 1974 and from the Americana Academy of Beauty in Des Moines in 1975.

On January 7, 1984 she was united in marriage to Steven R. Raymie in Moravia, Iowa. To this union one daughter was born, Stacy Rene.

She was a homemaker, beautician and production operator at Midwestern Diskette where she worked as long as her health would permit.

She is survived by her husband Steve, daughter Stacey, parents Gaylan and Penny Combs of Mt. Ayr, mother-in-law and father-in-law Rich and Mary Lou Raymie of Moravia, two brothers, Richard Combs and wife Luann of Atlantic and Michael
Combs and wife Beth of Marion, one brother-in-law David Raymie of Moravia, one sister-in-law Susan Raymie of Long Beach, California, two nephews Dillon and Dalton Combs, two nieces Micaela Combs and Traci Larson, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by an infant brother Mark Jeffry and her grandparents.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 15, 1999 at Powers Funeral Home in Creston with Reverend Tom Woodin officiating. Interment
was in Prairie Lawn Cemetery north of Creston. Memorials will go to Stacey's education fund.
