Mrs. Theresa Frymire Dies

Funeral Services to be held Tuesday Afternoon

Theresa Frymire, 90 years old and a resident of Creston for 32 years, died at midnight Saturday night at her home, 204 North Jarvis street, following an illness of six months.

Mrs. Frymire was born July 29, 1848, at Galesburg, Ill., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Burner. She was married at Monmouth, Ill, in 1869 to Barney Frymire, who died in 1894. She is survived by a daughter, Alice Frymire, and a son Guy Grymire, both of Creston. She was a member of the Christian church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the Christian church, conducted by the pastor, the Rev. E. E. Lister. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery. Pallbearers are Ray Conrad, Joe Evans, D. L. Roberts, John Roberts, Charles Hurst, and Homer Kellogg.

The body will remain at the Deitrick and Keating chapel until the time of services. The casket will be open at the chapel but will not be opened at the church.

Mrs. Frymire was an unusually active women in her later years, retaining her interest in social activies and civic affairs until her last illness. She was a member of several clubs and social groups and enjoyed a large circle of friends. She spent her childhood in the civil war days in the community where she was born and came to Iowa with her husband and children (year missing) after their marriage.
