Mrs. James H. Tallman Dies

Funeral Services will be held Tomorrow

Mrs. James H. Tallman, a resident of Union county for the past 56 years, died of a heart attack at the family home at the northeast edge of Creston at 9 o'clock last night. She was 74 years of age and had been ill for the past four months.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from McGregor Bros. and Coens' chapel conducted by the Rev. Floyd Reeves, pastor of the congregational church. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery and pallbearers will be J. J. Bradley, M. H. W. Merrill, Fred C. Kessler, Fred Ide, George Cornell and Fred Graham.

Margery E. Tallman was born March 6, 1864, at Indianola, Iowa, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. George Bonney. She was married March 17, 1884 in Grant township, Union county, to James H. Tallman, who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Ralph Tallman, Creston grocer, and Bert Tallman, Creston banker; two daughters, Mrs. Homer L. Pettit of Fargo, N. D., and Mrs. Verner L. Webb of Beverly Hills, Calif; a sister, Mrs. Andrew Hough of Houston, Texas; and seven grandchildren.

She was a member of the O. D. O.
