Cullen, Leona Morrison -
Mrs. Peter (Leona) Cullen, 73, former Lenox resident, died at the Crest Haven nursing home in Creston at 11:30 a.m. July 14th. She had been ill for nine weeks.
Mrs. Cullen had lived in Creston since 1963. Her home was at 513 West Adams street.
Leona Morrison was born Feb. 19, 1898. She was the daughter of Frank G. and Nora McKee Morrison. She was married at Reno, Iowa, Nov. 28, 1922, to Peter F. Cullen. He preceded
her in death in 1962.
Mrs. Cullen is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Lyle (Mildred) Watts of Falls Church, Va., Mrs. Charles (Monica) Mohler of Bedford, and Mrs. Gene (Seraphia) Stoaks of
Lenox, three brothers, William Morrison of Grant, Hank Morrison of Denver, Colo., and Arlo Morrison of Greenfield, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Cullen of Greenfield and Mrs. Elizabeth Waters of Creston. Also surviving are six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Malachy's Catholic church. Rev. Fr. Otho Sullivan, the pastor, officiated.
Burial was in Calvary cemetery.
