VanHeeswyk, Ora -
Ora Van Heeswyik, 60, of Lacona, Iowa, died about 5:15 pm Wednesday, August 18th in a hospital in Cape May Point, N. J. He and his wife were driving on a vacation trip. They
had been gone from home about 3 weeks. Mr. Van Heeswyk was stricken Monday and taken to the hospital where he did not regain consciousness. A cousin of his wife who lived in the area, was with her at the time of his death.
He was born on a farm near Lenox and lived here during his early life, graduating from high school at Creston. He has relatives in the Creston and Afton areas.
He leaves his wife, Mary, a son, John, of Royal Oak, Mich.; and two granddaughters. Two sisters are in Lenox, Mrs. Don Bubb and Mrs. Geo. Grey.
The funeral was held at the Catholic Church in Lacona at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 25, with graveside services at 2:30 p. m. at Calvary cemetery in Creston.
