Mrs. Harvey Steers Dies; Funeral Rites to be Held Thursday ( April 9, 1936)
Mrs. Harvey Steers, 59, died at 1 o’clock this morning at Greater Community hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1876, in Germany. Surviving her are her husband and four children, Mrs. Merrill Gripp and Mrs. Floyd Larkins, both of Afton, Paul Steers of Omaha, and Miss Vera of the home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon from the Methodist church, of which she had been a member for many years. The rites will be conducted by the Rev. L.E. Watson, pastor. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery and pallbearers will be Frank Hood, John Hood, Roy Stickels, William Staples, L.M. Randolph, and Junior Shay.
