The funeral of Miss Maggie Kirkwood occurred last Thursday afternoon at the residence of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. H. McNeil. The funeral sermon was preached by the Rev. J. Reed. The numerous friends of the deceased attended the services and followed her remains to the grave in the beautiful cemetery on the hill. The family has the sympathy of our citizens.
