Dennis Hunter, 61, of West Yellowstone, Mont. formerly of Lorimor, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at his home in West Yellowstone, Mont. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 5, 2013 at United Methodist Church in Lorimor. Pastor Joel Sutton will officiate. Burial will be at a later date. Dennis Allen Hunter was born May 22, 1951 in Winterset, Iowa to Della Marie (Stephens) and Kenneth Ray Hunter. He attended East Union High School graduating in 1969. He was very active in 4H while he was in school both on the local and state levels. He continued his education at the University of Iowa earning a bachelor's degree in social work and later a master's degree in business management at Baker University.

Dennis, after finishing college, put his degree to work in hotel management in the Kansas City, Mo. He was active in the Methodist Church. Later he moved to Moab, Utah where he was a manager of a ranch resort, then moving to West Yellowstone, Mont. where he worked as a director of sales.

Dennis is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Della Hunter of Lorimor; a daughter, Dora (husband Carlo) Panlilio of Rockville, Md.; three sons, Henry Hunter of Kansas City, Mo., Winston Hunter and Stuart Hunter both of Kansas City, Kan.; a sister, Diann (husband Bryan) Patterson of Chandler, Ariz. and two nieces, Brianna (husband Tyler) of Scottsdale, Ariz and Heather Patterson of Manhattan, Kan.
