McFee, Margaret –
Mrs. Margaret McFee, 94 years of age, died Saturday morning here at the home of her son, Lewis McFee. Funeral services were Monday at the Bender Funeral Home, the Rev. James Eddy, officiating. Burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Creston.

Mrs McFee had made her home with her son and his wife since September 1946, except for one year with her son George in Chappell, Nebr. She has been an invalid since she broke her hip four years ago. She also suffered a broken limb three years ago. During that time she was cheerful and patient.

Margaret McFee, daughter of George Tully and Jane Fowler, was born in Peterborough, Canada July 15, 1863. She passed away Sept. 7, 1957 at the age of 94 years one month, 23 days.

She moved with her parents to the United States in 1879. They lived on a farm northeast of Lenox. On March 11, 1886 she was married to John A McFee who passed away Feb. 27, 1932.

They were parents of three children, George A of Chappell, Nebr. Etta Blanche who died in infancy and Lewis W. of Lenox. Besides the two sons she leaves to mourn her loss the daughters-in-law, eight grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren, also two sisters, Mrs. Duncan McFee, Winnipeg, Can. And Mrs. Geo McFee, Creston, and a host of other relatives.

After their marriage, Mr and Mrs McFee moved to Hand County, S. Dak. Where they resided four years. Then they returned to a farm near Lenox where they lived until they moved to Creston in 1915.

Mrs McFee joined the Presbyterian Church when she came from Canada and has been affiliated with other Presbyterian churches where she lived.
