Hoops, Ernest -
Ernest Hoops, 80, died at his home in Kent, Tuesday, Oct 29 after a long illness. Funeral services were held Friday at Creston and burial was in the Fairview cemetery at Bedford. His wife preceded him in death Jan 20, 1957.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs Marion Wilson of Gravity, Mrs Frank King of Bedford and Mrs Herman Peterson of Corning, and two sons Dale of Peru, and Merle of Webster City, and 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and four sisters. He lived in Kent the past nine years.
