Cook, Josephine Munyon -
Mrs. Adley Cook, 89, died at her home in Kent, Wednesday evening of last week. She had been in failing health for the past several months.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Kent at
2:30 p.m. Sunday. Her son, Rev. Claude Cook of Des Moines officiated the services, assisted by Rev. C. E. McPherson. Burial was in the Morgan cemetery south of Kent.
Josephine Munyon, was born at Viroqua, Wis., July 29, 1862. She was the daughter of William and Sarah Humphrey Munyon. She was married at St. Joseph, Mo., April 2, 1885 to Adley Cook. She had lived in Kent all of her married life. Her husband preceded her in death on Feb. 23, 1946.
Mr. Cook was a member of the Methodist Church and of the S.S.S. Club in Creston.
Surviving are four sons, Rev. Claude Cook of Des Moines, Roy Cook of Des Moines, Gaile Cook of Kent, Wayne Cook of Yakima, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Vera Westerbeck of Des Moines, four sisters, Mrs. Idella M. Barr of Omaha, Nebr., Mrs. Edith Darrow of St. Louis, Mo., Mrs. Minnie Ball of Ohio and Mrs. Maud McCoun of St. Joseph, Mo., 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
