Wurster, Chris -
Chris Wurster, 81, died at his home in Creston at 3 a.m. Monday, having been ill for over a year. Mr. Wurster was born at Wuertenbury, Germany on Aug. 7, 1858 and came to Iowa at the age of 17. He farmed farmed near Lenox until 1914 at which time he moved to Creston.
Surviving are his children, Mrs. William Froemel of Omaha, Mrs. Clyde Milliken, John Wurster, Sam Wurster, and Willie Wurster, all of Lenox and Clara Wurster of Creston, Iowa; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
His wife and five brothers preceded him in death. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran Church in Creston Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock and burial was at the Lenox Cemetery.
