Elizabeth Derauf,
84, Died Sunday

Mrs. Elizabeth Derauf, 84, of 701 North Poplar street, died at Greater Community hospital here at 9:34 p.m. Sunday. She had been ill about ten days.

Elizabeth Berger, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Berger, was born at Wotten Well, Switzerland, September 15, 1861. She came to the United States in 1868 and lived in St. Joseph, Mo., until 1873 when she came to Creston.

She was married here December 21, 1882, to John Derauf who preceded her id death December 28, 1925.

Mrs. Derauf is survived by five sons, Ralph W. Derauf of Trenton, Neb., George Derauf of Clarinda, John W. Derauf of Creston, Dr. B. I. Derauf of St. Paul, Minn., and C. S. Derauf of Des Moines; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Wirth of Creston; and two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Shepard and Mrs. Mary Dare, both of St. Louis, Mo.

She was a member of the Methodist church.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church here at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Myron S. Hayes, the pastor will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.
