RITES THURSDAY FOR CHARLES O. HAMILTON

Funeral services for Charles O. Hamilton, 74, will be held at the Deitrick and Keating chapel here at 2 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Leslie E. Thomas, pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Hamilton died suddenly while sitting in the Creston fire station at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday. He apparently suffered a heart attack. His body was found by a boy who passed through the station a few minutes later.

Charles O. Hamilton was born in Creston, June 3, 1876, the son of William H. and Isabell Doyle Hamilton. He had lived in Creston all of his life. He was a member of the Baptist church.

Surviving are a nephew, Alfred Hamilton, in the state of Washington; three nieces, Mrs. Harold Taylor of Perry, Mrs. Jeane Schmoll of Creston, and Maxine Hamilton of Omaha, Nebr.; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Will Hamilton of Creston.
