RITES TODAY FOR RAY C. ARNOLD

The funeral for Ray C. Arnold, 78, of Creston, was held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Coon funeral home here. Rev. James W. Morris, pastor of the Afton United Methodist church, officiated. Music was by Mrs. Richard Michaelis, organist, who played “In the Garden” and “Sweet Hour of Prayer.” Casket bearers were Leonard McCann, Robert Dean, Arthur Duben, Gayle Crise, George Jones and Jay Marmon. Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

Mr. Arnold was found dead in his home here Tuesday afternoon. He died of a heart attack and had apparently been dead for about a day. He had lived in Creston since 1905.
