IRA ANDERSON, PRESCOTT, DIES

CORNING—Ira Anderson, 79, of Prescott, died Saturday at Rosary hospital at Corning. Mr. Anderson had owned a feed store in Prescott from World War I until his retirement a few years ago.

The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Prescott United church, with Rev. Donald Briley officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Prescott.

Ira Anderson was born in Adams county, the son of Andrew and Martha Beiland Anderson. On Dec. 24, 1918, he was married at Creston to Viva Mary Davis, who survives.

In addition to his widow, Mr. Anderson is survived by two sons, Dale Anderson and Floyd Anderson, both in California; and two sisters.

Mr. Anderson was a veteran of World War I.

A memorial to the Prescott United church has been established and contributions may be left at the Larkin-Roland funeral home at Corning, which is in charge of the funeral.
